Wedding Bells Pt. 2! "Whats In My Bridal Tote?"

Hi all! Another Bridal post! Yippee! Today I wanted to share with you one of my 'essential's' in my bridal planning. My tote bag!

Isn't it adorable?! The first thing to have my new monogram :) I bought this on sale from The Knot!

Alrighty, so in my tote I've been able to carry around with me all of the current things that have been helping me with my planning.

First we have my Bridal Binder!

This was gifted to me by my parents once they found out about our engagement! It is absolutely amazing. Seriously! I'm not sure where my mom picked this up, but it must have been bridal heaven. Because inside it has EVERY. SINGLE. THING. you will ever need to know about planning your wedding. It also has graphs and charts to help you with budgeting, etc. I highly recommend this bridal binder to all of my fellow brides out there :)

Next!

My iPad! I keep this in my bridal tote because I think its important when you go on meetings to be able to show your photographer/planner/florist etc. photos or "pins" of things that you like. This way they can visualize and be on the same page as you with your atmosphere thoughts.

I also have a sweet little white folder that I bought at our local Rite Aid in Brooklyn. Super durable and helpful for all those scraps of paper from different seating chart lay outs you've drawn up! ;)

After that, we have my adorable Kate Spade 2015 Planner.

I just purchased this and literally got it in the mail today! I love it. Exactly what I needed, lots of space for notes, and over all very practical.

I appreciate the rings in the planner -- its always so much easier for me to leaf through the pages. (Nerd alert) Also, how can you go wrong with gold leaf polka dot and cream? You really can't. Its fabulous. Highly recommend as well!

Finally, we have my cute little pencil case! I bought this at H&M for around $5.00 and its just the perfect size for what I needed. It also clearly goes with my color scheme! Haha. Its a cream colored ostrich skin print, with a kind of silky interior.

Inside I've got some highlighters and a cream colored (of course) blue ink pen from Staples!

There you have it! That's what is currently in my bridal tote. I know many other things will be thrown in there come closer to the wedding date, but as for now it helps me keep sane knowing I have all of my bridal planning information in one space!

Stick with me!

XO

Wedding Bells: Part 1

Hi everyone! I know this is a beauty/style blog, but because I'm going through such an exciting time in my life right now, I thought it would be fun to share the excitement with my readers as well! That being said, every time I post in regards to wedding planning or engagement things, you'll see in the title "Wedding Bells," this way you'll know its not a beauty tip or fashion advice, but something about my wedding! Sound alright?

After coming home from Ireland, I was deliriously happy.

On the plane ride home with a new "rock" on my finger ;)

I immediately found myself lounged in bed with STACKS of wedding magazines.

I've looked through wedding magazines when I was the Maid of Honor for my best friends wedding, but I can honestly say looking at these magazines as a bride now has completely changed my view on these things. I no longer look at these magazines as a cute little idea booklet, I look at it is a book of STRESS. Because, holy decisions, batman! But its okay, I know I have time :)

My family has been absolutely adorable and very helpful during this process, and its just begun! My cute cousin Bridgett bought this bridal sash for me - how fun!

Right now, I've just gotten back to the city after a week long vacation in Outerbanks, NC. We had a wonderful time with family, as usual :) Luckily for me, my mother was able to grab a few shots for our upcoming intimate engagement party. Here's a little sneak peek!

Black Maxi Dress from H&M

We plan to do our actual engagement photos sometime in September, this way we'll have the same foliage as our wedding photos! Woohoo!

All in all, this is a dreamy time for me and my fiancĂ©. We are so happy and in love, and I couldn't have asked for a greater man to spend my life with.

Final ring shot, because I am so incredibly obsessed with my ring! Haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by..
